Scout XI uses a small set of cookies and browser storage. Essential cookies are always on; analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you consent via the cookie banner. For aggregate visitor counts we also use Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless, no personal profiling).

Essential (always on)

• Authentication — Supabase session cookies keep you signed in.
• Language — a cookie remembers your selected language for server rendering.

Analytics & advertising (consent required)

These load only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner, using Google's Consent Mode v2 (default denied until you accept). You can decline, and they stay off.

• Google Analytics (GA4) — aggregate traffic and usage measurement (_ga cookies).
• Google Ads — conversion measurement to see which ads lead to sign-ups/purchases (_gcl_* cookies). Used for measurement; we do not sell your data.

Preferences (local storage)

• Theme (SCOUTXI_THEME) — dark/light choice.
• Tutorial (scoutxi_tutorial_done) — whether you have seen the intro.
• Consent (scoutxi_cookie_ok) — your accept/decline choice for analytics & advertising cookies.
• Lobby cache — stable lobby names within a session.

Managing cookies

Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. You can clear cookies and local storage via your browser settings; doing so signs you out and resets preferences.
